Drainage and waste removal

Drain pipe lining

Mitchell Drainage & Waste Services Ltd offers a range of solutions to restore integrity to damaged drains and pipe work without the need for disruptive excavation or in an area where excavation is not possible.

Cured in place pipe (CIPP) is a cost-effective way of dealing with fractures, water infiltration, in-growing roots, voids and other structural defects in drains, sewers and pipes. The main benefit is its simplicity; we apply fresh lining to the inside of the pipe so it is fully restored. The pipe's capacity remains the same, with flow characteristics often improved by the new, smoother surface.

Drainage patch repairs

Drainage patch repairs

This trenchless technology is a localised method of pipe renovation, which causes minimal disruption. It is suitable for repairing holes and for capping redundant connections to prevent rat infestation, and is an ideal solution for root and water intrusion. It is great for deep and inaccessible repairs and the patch repair is made from glass fibre, which is impregnated with a polyurethane resin. It is then wrapped around an inflatable packer, inserted into the pipe and compressed against the pipe wall. Cured at ambient temperature, this repair gives a bonded fit.

Patch lining is suitable for domestic, commercial and industrial pipes. It is stronger than the old pipe and improves flow characteristics.
Resin injection

Resin injection

Resin injection is used for sealing leaks in structures such as manholes, culverts, walls, concrete slabs, basements and cellars, basically wherever water is leaking in.

We insert a bore packer into a pre-drilled hole in the structure and a polyurethane foaming resin is injected through. The resin reacts with the water to increase thirty times in size, therefore sealing the leak.
